WEEK 27 Period: 103 Class: 5A, 5B Monday, March 17th 2025 REVIEW 3 Activity 1, 2 I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Correctly use the words and sentence patterns from Unit 11 to Unit 15 - Listen to five questions and circle the correct answers a, b or c. - Ask and answer questions using picture cues. 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: review - Sentence patterns: review 2. Skills: - Listening and speaking 3. Quality /Attitude: Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to study hard to review the vocabulary and sentence patterns they have learnt; be honest in the learning tasks. Speaking Communication: Let’s talk Listening competence: Listen and tick 4. Competences: SS can develop some competences: Decision making, teamwork, work standards, motivation, problem-solving. Self- control & independent learning: perform listening tasks Communication and collaboration: work in pairs or groups Oral Communication: let’s talk. II. TEACHING AIDS / MATERIALS: - Pictures, textbook, computer, projector, flashcards, recording III. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Correctly use the words and sentence patterns from Unit 11 to Unit 15 - Read and match pairs of target sentence patterns. - Read a paragraph and decide whether the sentences are true or false. - Read, understand and write a short passage about their last Mid-Autumn Festival using suggested questions and word cues. 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: review - Sentence patterns: review 2. Skills: - Reading and writing. 3. Quality /Attitude: Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Correctly use the words and sentence patterns from Unit 11 to Unit 15 - Show understanding of food types by colouring in a picture. - Categorise a wider range of food and drink items by their food types. 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: review - Sentence patterns: review 2. Skills: - Listening and speaking, reading and writing. 3. Quality /Attitude: Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class.
